Scholarship Overview
The Rhodes Trust Scholarship is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study at the University of Oxford, bringing together young leaders with exceptional intellect, character, leadership, and dedication to service. Now fully global, the scholarship welcomes applicants from any country, including two new Global Scholarships for those not covered by existing Rhodes constituencies.
The scholarship covers:

- Visa costs
Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality/Citizenship: Eligible if not covered by existing Rhodes constituencies. Consider inter-jurisdictional options if closely connected to a constituency but ineligible under their criteria.
- Age: Must meet one of the following:
- Born between October 2, 2000, and October 1, 2007 (ages 18–24 on October 1, 2025).
- Born between October 2, 1999, and October 1, 2007 (ages 18–25 on October 1, 2025) for medical, dental, pharmacy, law, or engineering students completing professional internships.
- Born after October 1, 1998, and under 27 on October 1, 2025, with a first undergraduate degree completed on or after October 1, 2024, for senior applicants who took longer to complete their degree.
- Academic Success: Must have completed an undergraduate degree (typically a Bachelor’s) by October 1, 2025. A First Class Honours Degree or equivalent is highly recommended due to competitive admission to Oxford.
- English Language: Must meet Oxford’s Higher Level English proficiency requirements. Exempt if English is your first language and you are a citizen of a majority English-speaking country.
