Uganda Kolping Society (UKS) is a Catholic social action organization and member of the International Kolping Society, dedicated to poverty alleviation through self-help initiatives, vocational training, and community development across Uganda since 1982.
UKS empowers marginalized communities through its "Help for Self-Help" model, focusing on vocational training (e.g., motorcycle repair, hairdressing), microfinance services via Kolping Micro Finance Uganda Ltd., and environmental projects like tree planting. With over 13,390 members in 446 "Kolping Families," it promotes Christian virtues, transparency, and partnership to foster economic resilience and social change
