World Evangelical Ministries and Compassion International Uganda are looking for two Child Development Officers one for Home-Based Programming and one for Health These jobs are part of a project that works to help children and teens in poverty in all areas of their lives.

 The officers will be in charge of coming up with putting into action and keeping an eye on initiatives that help the spiritual social economic and physical health of enrolled children.

 These jobs need grown-up Christians who are passionate about child development and want to change the lives of at-risk kids in a way that is consistent with Christian beliefs

• For Both Roles: Plan coordinate and implement child development activities and lessons at the project center Keep an eye on each child's improvement and report it
• Home-Based Programming Officer: Visit caregivers' homes often to give them support advice and instruction on how to raise their children how to help them grow spiritually and how to care for them
• Health Officer: Check on the health needs of kids set up health education seminars and make sure that kids get their check-ups vaccines and treatment Keep an eye on unwell kids and their health outcomes
• For both roles make sure to build strong supportive relationships with kids caregivers and other people in the community Keep child records and data that are correct and private Work together with other people on the project to make sure that each child's overall development is taken care of

• Must be a mature born-again Christian with a strong testimony and a love for working with kids
• It is desirable if you have worked in community service child development or health programming before
• Good at using computers (MS Word Excel email)
• Great at talking and writing
• Often but not always these jobs require you to be able to ride a motorbike for home visits
• Must be between 25 and 40 years old
