Integrated Transport Solutions Limited (ITSL) provides new business solutions in areas including public transport and fleet management, transport information management systems, electronic content management, and other related fields. Station Maintenance Officer (5 Positions)

ITSL is hiring 5 Station Maintenance Officers to ensure seamless operation of motor vehicle inspection centers by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting the Ministry of Works and Transport's road safety mandate.

Detailed Role Overview

The Ministry of Works and Transport is in charge of making sure that all cars are safe to drive, that they meet environmental standards, and that they are safe for everyone on the road. To carry out this task, the Ministry of Works and Transport hired Integrated Transport Solutions Limited, a well-known and capable company that offers cutting-edge business solutions, to help them hire contract workers to help set up motor vehicle inspection centers and open more motor vehicle registration centers. So, we are looking for skilled people to fill the following jobs to help with providing services for required motor vehicle registration and inspection.

This role is essential in maintaining the reliability of inspection equipment at ITSL's stations, contributing to Uganda's road safety efforts by ensuring vehicles are inspected accurately and efficiently. Drawing from ITSL's expertise in transport solutions and prior operations similar to those at SGS Automotive Uganda's seven nationwide stations under the "Safe Drive Uganda" program, the position demands technical precision to minimize downtime and support expanded inspection services.

Job Purpose:

To keep inspection equipment and machinery running smoothly and reliably by doing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, and keeping accurate records. If there are any severe technical problems, you should tell management right away.

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

Help with the regular maintenance and calibration of inspection tools.
Fix broken machines and do small repairs on them.
Keep track of maintenance work and spare parts on hand.
Tell the Equipment Maintenance Manager about any big technical problems.

Important Requirements

A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
At least three years of experience keeping equipment in good shape
Experience with inspection tools and machines for vehicles.
