Role Overview

You are a hands-on engineer responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and ensuring quality of customer swap stations across Uganda.

Working closely with the Quality Department and customers, you’ll resolve issues fast, improve performance, and uphold business quality standards.

Field-based, high-impact role requiring technical skill, customer focus, and rapid response.

Key Responsibilities

Core Field Duties:

Inspect and repair swap stations across Uganda
Investigate and resolve customer-reported quality issues
Provide daily updates to Guangdong SRE on market issues, defects, and solutions

Maintenance & Reporting:

Maintain accurate maintenance records for each product
Develop and implement inspection and repair plans for all SRE products
Submit regular maintenance reports to the Quality Department

Proactive Quality:

Respond rapidly to reported issues on-site
Identify recurring market problems and propose preventive/corrective actions
Ensure all operations comply with safety and quality management policies

Qualifications, Education & Skills

Education & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related)
Experience: Minimum 1 year in a plant/factory setting
Bonus: Experience in electrical appliance repair or automotive maintenance

Skills & Mindset:

Technical: Strong hands-on skills + analytical thinking
Communication: Fluent English (spoken, written, listening, reading)
Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office
