Job Description

The Chef will be in charge of the culinary team and will be in charge of making the menu and all of the cuisine.

This important job requires a promise to always provide food on time, with the best quality, and in the same way every time The best candidate will be a creative and energetic chef who can help the kitchen succeed and add to the restaurant's overall brand identity

Specific Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

1. Managing the Menu and Inventory

  • Create, plan, and build new and affordable menus that fit with the brand's concept and what customers want
  • Do regular market research to find the best and freshest seasonal foods
  • Keep track of and manage food inventory, including ordering, rotating stock, and reducing waste to keep costs down

2. Running the Kitchen and Making Food

  • Make sure that every food is prepared, cooked, and plated to the greatest standards of quality, taste, and appearance
  • Make sure that all meals are served in a smooth manner
  • Put in place and keep stringent portion control methods to make sure that everything is the same and that you make money

3. Leading and Growing a Team

  • Lead, manage, and schedule the kitchen staff, creating a friendly, cooperative, and high-performance work environment
  • Find out what training the staff needs and hold frequent training sessions to improve their cooking abilities and expertise
  • Give staff performance reviews and helpful feedback to help them grow and improve

4. Safety and Compliance

  • Follow local health rules and keep the kitchen clean, safe, and hygienic at all times
  • Make sure that all kitchen tools are in good condition and that safety rules are always observed
  • Set an example for all kitchen personnel by establishing a culture of safety and cleanliness
