iGourd is hiring Front-End Developer Engineers to design and lead the company's Vue + Electron-based front-end architecture, ensuring scalable, high-performance web and desktop applications while mentoring teams on best practices.

Detailed Role Overview
This role is pivotal in shaping iGourd's user-facing technology stack, focusing on creating seamless, cross-platform experiences. As a Front-End Developer Engineer, you'll architect solutions that integrate modern tools like Vue 3 and Electron, optimizing for speed and maintainability to support iGourd's custom software offerings for Ugandan businesses.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing and improving the front-end architecture
- Be in charge of the company's entire front-end architecture design and set up a front-end technology system that is easy to maintain and works well.
- In charge of designing and building the Vue + Electron technology stack, as well as making front-end development standards and component solutions.
- Create and put into action a multi-terminal unified architectural solution for both web and desktop clients.
- Writing core code and making it run faster
- Build the main functional modules and solve the most important technological problems.
- Improve load speed and user experience by optimizing front-end performance, build efficiency, and package volume.
- Help with packaging, automated updates, security policies, and making sure Electron apps work on different platforms.
- Help the team with technical issues and set standards
- Help team members write high-quality code and review code.
- Make technical documents, component libraries, scaffolding, and engineering templates to help your team's research and development work go more smoothly.
- Encourage the front-end technology stack to be updated all the time and new technologies to be used.
- Working together across departments and integrating systems
- Work closely with the back-end, UI/UX, and product teams to make sure that the architecture design satisfies business needs and can grow.
- Help with the general design of the system architecture and the formulation of the API standard.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related subject.
- More than 2 years of experience as an architecture or technology leader and at least 4 years of experience as a front-end developer.

- Good at Vue 3, Vue-Router, Pinia, and other front-end support tools.
- Know the basics of Electron and Quasar architecture and have worked in developing and packaging desktop applications.
- Know how to use Node.js, TypeScript, Vite, and the Webpack packaging toolchain.
- Know the basics of Electron, namely Cross Process Communication (IPC), the Main Process and Render Process Mechanism, and the Security Sandbox Mechanism.
- Know how to optimize front-end performance, do engineering work, set up automated builds, and use continuous integration (CI/CD).
- Learn about common system resource calls and cross-platform development calls, like filesystems, system menus, clipboards, notifications, and so on.
- It's a plus if you have worked on big front-end projects or designed desktop client applications.

The Accountant position is essential for maintaining iGourd's financial health, handling day-to-day accounting, tax compliance, and providing data-driven insights to aid in strategic decision-making within the fast-growing software sector.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keeps accounting information accurate by recording, checking, combining, and entering transactions.
- Gathers and analyzes account information to prepare and record entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
- Keeps subsidiary accounts up to date and in balance by checking, assigning, publishing, and reconciling transactions and fixing any problems that come up.
- Gathers information and makes balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other statements to give a quick overview of the company's finances.
- Taking care of the company's URA duties and filings, like filing returns, VAT, and PAYE
- Taking care of petty cash, recording petty cash transactions, and reconciling transactions
- Prepares and records entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses by gathering and evaluating account information.
- Making and sending in monthly reports such bank reconciliation, reports on debtors and creditors, and more
- Collects information and makes a balance to give an overview of the financial situation
