About the Company
Raising Gabdho Foundation is a social business that helps weak communities by coming up with new ideas, making things more sustainable, and teaching people new skills.
Our internet radio station is here to give a voice to the community and share timely, relevant material on important topics like climate resilience, entrepreneurship, and the well-being of refugees.
Responsibilities, Roles, and Duties
- Write and research articles, blog entries, and human interest stories that are about the community.
- Talk to people who are working on the project, partners, and people who will benefit from it.
- Edit and proofread written submissions so that they are ready for publication.
- Help in uploading content and layout to the web platform.
- Work with the communications team to make sure that the newspaper's content matches RGF campaigns and radio shows.
- Keep track of interaction and get input to make things better.
Skills, Education, and Qualifications
- You just graduated or are about to graduate with a degree in journalism, communications, development studies, or a similar discipline.
- Love stories about communities and media that focuses on development.
- Good at writing, editing, and doing research.
- Able to work alone and from home with some help.
- It helps to know how to use blogging platforms or digital publishing tools, like WordPress or Canva.
