Raising Gabdho Foundation is a social business that helps weak communities by coming up with new ideas, making things more sustainable, and teaching people new skills.
Our internet radio station is here to give a voice to the community and share timely, relevant material on important topics like climate resilience, entrepreneurship, and the well-being of refugees.
Responsibilities, Roles, and Duties
- Help plan and schedule weekly radio and podcast shows.
- Help write, record, and edit episodes.
- Help set up interviews with guests and other show arrangements.
- Take care of the basic technical setup for live or recorded broadcasts (training will be given).
- Share and promote material on all of RGF's digital platforms.
- Get feedback from listeners and share your suggestions for how to make the program better.
Skills, Education, and Qualifications
- Recently graduated or about to graduate in journalism, media, communications, or a related discipline.
- An interest in community radio, podcasts, or digital stories.
- Being able to write and talk well.
- Self-motivated, curious, and able to work alone or with others.
- It's helpful to know how to edit audio, but it's not necessary.
