Job Summary

The Ad-Ops Associate is a very important part of the Media Buying team. They are in charge of running Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns. This job includes managing the daily tasks of starting and running PPC campaigns, such as scheduling ads, tracking their performance, and improving them 

The Associate will run campaigns, keep an eye on digital media KPIs across all platforms, and come up with ways to improve performance.

 The Ad-Ops Associate will be a multi-channel digital media expert who uses performance marketing to make the best use of media dollars for the best return on investment.

 This job needs someone who is data-driven and can work well in a fast-paced setting with many tasks that need to be done quickly, be flexible, and pay close attention to detail It gives you a lot of responsibility and a lot of experience with digital marketing strategy and media planning

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

  • Use Trello to keep track of how tasks are going
  • Weekly training and planning with direct reports
  • Look at how well campaigns are doing with their KPIs, make improvements, and send out frequent reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly)
  • Keep an eye on how quickly each brand and channel is spending its money
  • Check the performance of your account and campaign every day
  • Run weekly optimization cycles for AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, and other channels This includes A/B testing and bid optimization
  • Look into keywords and grow campaigns in line with performance marketing frameworks
  • Look into and write about new features and upgrades for both old and new platforms
  • Look into the finest ways to do performance marketing
  • Make sure that all of your platform partners' (like Google) certifications are current
  • Work with Account Managers to talk about how the campaign is going and make suggestions for how to make it better all the time

ExperienceYou should have worked with Google AdWords and AdWords Editor before (Bing Ads and Yahoo Gemini are a plus)

Skills: 
Advanced Excel skills, such as being able to use VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables 
Understanding of Search Metrics: A basic understanding of search metrics including CPC, CTR, CPA, and conversion rates 
Passion and Drive: You need to be passionate about digital media and able to do well in a fast-paced, business-like setting 
Organization and Detail: Must be well organized and pay close attention to detail 
Communication: Good in both speaking and writing 
Technical Skills: Being able to do math and equations using media 
Interpersonal Skills: Being good with people 
Project Management: Good at managing projects 
Analytical Skills: You need to be good at math and analysis 
Organizational Skills: You are very good at organizing things and doing more than one thing at once 
Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and the ability to handle stress 
Programmatic Advertising: The ability to buy and run programmatic ads using Google DV360 
Mobile Attribution: You can use Apps Flyer
