Employment Information

Main Duties

  • Get freight and process it in the BWIMS (Bonded Warehouse Inventory Management System) and ASYCUDA platforms under Transit Entry T1
  • Work with bond officers and declarants to make sure that the cargo you receive matches the paperwork
  • Keep detailed records of all commodities stored in a warehouse for customs checks
  • Keep an eye on how things are stacked so that they are easy to get to and look at
  • Keep an eye on and report on how long all goods are stored to make sure they follow the rules
  • Plan the people and supplies needed for storing, checking, packing, marking, weighing, and counting stock
  • Be responsible for all goods from the time they enter until they are released
  • Do regular self-audits and checks of the bonded warehouse
  • Do full stocktaking on a regular basis to make sure that the physical inventory matches the records
  • Give daily reports on manual and computerized standage
  • Keep manual records up to date and in line with electronic records
  • Change the way containers are loaded out in the BWIMS system
  • Make sure that all stakeholders are involved in a way that keeps things running smoothly
  • Get ready and send weekly and monthly stock reports to your boss and customs officials
  • Keep track of T1s, IM7s, IM4s, and Ex8s in a way that follows customs rules
  • Make sure that the bonded warehouse is clean and well-maintained
  • Keep an eye on the expiration dates of goods in storage and let customs know before they expire
  • Make sure that things that are "want of entry" are clearly separated and let customs know
  • Check with customs officers about T1s/Red Lane entries that haven't been verified
  • Check on claims for auctioned cargo and make sure all paperwork is in order
  • Tell customers to clear their shipment before the due date
  • Take care of the needs of customs and UNBS officers who live there
  • Protect the company's assets
  • Answer any questions from customs about the audit in a timely manner
  • Make sure that all of your customs concerns are resolved before your system may be cleared
  • Make sure that the people who work in the warehouse meet their KPIs
  • Help carry out the yearly customs bonded warehouse operation license
  • Follow the S&R (Safety and Security) policy
  • Do any other tasks that the operations supervisor gives you

What We're Looking For

Academic Qualifications
