• A college graduate having at least a bachelor's degree in computer science information technology information security or a related discipline from an authorized school
• People who have qualifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) may be given favor
• Experience preferably in a bank setting
• Knowledge of IFRS Ugandan tax law and the Financial Institutions Act (FIA) 2004

• The applicant should have a lot of expertise in managing cyber security risk governance and strategic risk in technology and innovation
• Five (5) years of experience after getting your qualification preferably in the financial sector in Uganda
• Risk management following the rules and making sure your firm can keep going in case of an emergency are all important
• Strong skills in leading and managing teams
• Ability to work with and persuade Board members senior management and cross-functional teams
• Excellent analytical ability to look at risks and their possible effects and rank them
• Great communication and presentation skills to explain complicated risk ideas to a wide range of people
• High moral values and honesty
• Age: 35 or younger is best
• Management on the other hand has the last say on the age requirements even whether they are less than or more than -35- years old depending on the person's experience qualifications and other factors
