Bwindi Mgahinga Conservation Trust (BMCT) is a conservation organization dedicated to protecting the biodiversity of the Bwindi Impenetrable and Mgahinga Gorilla National Parks in Uganda.

Job Summary

BMCT wants to fill the vacancy of Driver in its Kabale office The driver will safely drive as authorized and keep assigned BMCT vehicles in good mechanical condition

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities in Detail

Make sure the vehicles are in good working order
Make sure the log books are always up to date
Drive BMCT cars safely
Make sure that the cars he or she is responsible for are clean inside and out
Make sure that the cars he or she is responsible for get serviced on time
Make sure that people who aren't allowed to drive the assigned BMCT vehicles don't
Make sure that the assigned BMCT vehicles are parked in the right places by 5:00 p.m. unless the Trust Administrator or Program Manager says it's okay
Do any other tasks that the Trust Administrator gives you

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

Category	Description
Education	At least an O-level certificate, good spoken and written English, and a valid driving permit for cars and light commercial vehicles (at least three Classes B, B-E, C, and D-1)
Experience	At least 10 years of driving experience (this will be a plus)

Additional Qualifications

Experience working with an NGO
Having a defensive driving license and/or a certificate in mechanics will be a plus

Age Requirement

35 to 55 years
