• Manage the exports team
• Tell the team about changes in the entity's strategy and how to align with them
• Set goals for service quality and cost control

• Make sure that files and issues are transferred smoothly when the team changes
• Work with Human Resources to set up induction programs for new exports staff and interview and choose potential staff
• Build and change the process and organization
• Build and frequently review the exports organization including the setup and skills
• Work with QHSE and HR to set up standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Organize quality reviews within operations and put into action the suggestions that have been approved
• Make sure that the staff in the department makes full use of business technologies like Trakit and Tally
• Managing the Client Portfolio
• Check the department's client portfolio on a regular basis to see how well the service is being provided how profitable it is and what resources are available
• Make sure that clients are met with often and that monthly KPI meetings are scheduled
• Make sure that the best service is provided to clients and that costs are billed correctly according to the service agreement
• Make sure that you don't lose any business with current clients
• Set up the overall tariff grid and send it to the MD for approval
• Check and back up the sales department's actions for certain quotes (technical validation and tariff)
• Help the sales department during customer visits and presentations
• Operational controls and File management
• Keep a close eye on the quality of service and profitability for each customer
• Update and evaluate invoicing lines at least once a year
• Be in charge of meeting budget goals for gross margin costs and quality service
• Being a member of the credit control committee
• Checking that cash clients are valid in the business software
• Take care of the working relationship with subcontractors
• In charge of the day-to-day contact with chosen subcontractors both inside and outside the company (including negotiating tariffs with the help of the MD)
• Keep track of the quality of service provided by the subcontractors and give the MD comments on it
• Make sure that the workload is evenly distributed across the team and the subcontractors
