Job Summary
Mutumba Mukobe and Associates is seeking motivated recent graduates for its Graduate Trainee program, offering hands-on experience in auditing, finance, and professional services. The program aligns with the firm’s vision and mission, providing practical training in key areas to launch your career in accountancy.
Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Assist in executing audit engagements under supervision to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks
- Document evidence and findings from audit procedures
- Prepare, review, and/or file tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients
- Support insolvency processes, including company liquidations, administrations, and receiverships
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all work
Qualifications, Education, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field
- ICP AU student (candidate for CPA)
- Attempted or registered for CPA exams by the time of application
- Graduated no earlier than 2025
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
- Age limit: Not over 24 years at the time of application
