An IT Trainee is being sought for by Good Brothers International Limited in order to provide assistance to the IT department in its day-to-day operations , aid in the resolution of technical issues and take part in IT projects and system improvements 

This is an entry-level role that is perfect for those who have recently graduated from college or who are eager to get their career in information technology off the ground Information Technology (IT) Department Responsible for Reporting to: Head of IT

Principal Duties and Obligations

• Our role is to provide assistance in the process of installing configuring and maintaining both hardware and software
• The end-users are provided with assistance in resolving difficulties related to both hardware and software
• The task at hand is to keep track of and respond to service requests and IT support tickets
• Carry out your regular system inspections and promptly report any irregularities to the senior staff
• Assist the information technology team in the areas of data entry documentation and inventory management
• Take part in undertaking fundamental tasks related to network administration and cybersecurity
• Provide assistance in the processes of backup and recovery

Prerequisites

• Possessing a degree in Information Technology Computer Science or an area that is closely connected to it
• A fundamental comprehension of computer systems networks and operating systems with a basic understanding
• A basic understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite and the Windows operating system is required
• Powerful abilities in problem-solving and analytical thinking
• I possess exceptional qualities in both communication and teamwork
• A strong desire to acquire knowledge and develop skills within a dynamic and fast-paced information technology environment
• Capability to adhere to instructions and pay close attention to specific components
• A fundamental understanding of coding or scripting such as Python HTML or JavaScript is required
• Knowledge and experience with database management systems such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server
• Proficient knowledge and exposure to helpdesk software or ticketing systems
