Job Summary

Hugannos is looking for a Loss Control Auditor to work in Kampala, Uganda, as a new hire or entry-level employee. The main goal of this job is to help the organization stop and reduce losses of money, operations, and property This is a great chance for a recent graduate with basic abilities in finance, audit, or risk to get some real-world experience.

Main Duties

Audits and Assessments:

• Help find weaknesses by doing audits of processes, assets, and inventory

Monitoring:

• Check transactions, stock movements, and asset use for mistakes, theft, or waste

Investigations:

• Help with investigations into loss events, write down what was found, and suggest ways to fix the problem

Reporting:

• Help make reports about trends in losses, risk exposure, and ways to enhance controls

Keeping Records:

• Help keep track of and balance records of physical assets, inventory, and other things that are high-risk

Working Together:

• Work with teams from within the company (operations, finance, security) to improve control measures

Inspections and Compliance:

• Make sure that the company follows its control procedures by visiting the location in person on a regular basis

Procedures:

• Help put Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and loss protection measures into place and keep an eye on them

Training:

• Help train employees on how to keep assets safe and how to control losses

Experience and Qualifications

Skills:  
Basic abilities in finance, audit, or risk
