The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Uganda is looking for a Partnerships Specialist to work as a UN National Volunteer in Kampala. this job helps UNICEF's collaboration efforts to get money for programs that help kids in Uganda.
The volunteer will work with the Partnerships Manager to help with resource mobilization handle grants write donor reports and get more involved with development partners and the corporate sector.

Roles & Responsibilities / Main Duties
Resource Mobilization: Help development partners and private sector actors come up with funding proposals and ways to get them involved
Grant Management: Help with the planning and management of donations that come from donors
Donor Reporting: Help write high-quality reports for donors and partners about how the program is going and what difference it is making
Partnership Engagement: Help build relationships with current and future partners to make the most of resources for kids
Working with the private sector: Help UNICEF work with more businesses and get more involved with them
Administration: Help the partnerships unit with administrative tasks like keeping databases up to date and setting up meetings
Academic Qualifications
Qualification
A Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline such as International Development International Relations or another related field
Skills and Experience
You need to have at least four years of experience in resource mobilization donor reporting or managing collaborations between the public and private sectors
Good at talking and writing in English
Good at analyzing planning and organizing things
Ability to work well with others in a multicultural setting
Being good at using Microsoft Office programs
A commitment to always learning and the virtues of voluntary participation
