Category	Responsibilities
Driving & Logistics	Operate project vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and project regulations. Transport staff and materials safely across project regions.
Vehicle Maintenance	Ensure vehicle cleanliness, regular maintenance, and optimal fluid levels (oil, fuel, etc.). Monitor tire conditions and report malfunctions/damage immediately.
Documentation	Maintain daily vehicle logs. Submit monthly fuel consumption reports.
Security	Safely park and lock vehicles when not in use.
Miscellaneous	Run project errands as assigned.

Requirement	Details
Education	Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a pass in English
Experience	5+ years of driving experience for projects (donor-funded projects preferred)
Certifications	Valid driver’s license in good standing Certificate of Competence from Chief Mechanical Engineer Defensive driving certification (advantageous)
Skills	Knowledge of traffic rules, minor vehicle repairs, and local road conditions Proficiency in English (written/spoken); local language skills required Tech-savvy (email, radio, phone apps)
Personal Traits	Trustworthy, physically fit, courteous, adaptable
