Job Purpose

Lead the credit granting process, assess client creditworthiness, manage existing portfolios, and develop strategies to minimize bad debt. This role ensures sustainable lending while supporting business growth in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate credit applications and conduct risk assessments for new/existing clients
• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures
• Manage collections process for overdue accounts
• Prepare management reports on credit performance and portfolio health
• Negotiate payment plans and resolve billing disputes
• Maintain accurate records of credit decisions and client interactions

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related
• 3–5 years in senior credit analysis or management
• Proven track record in credit risk assessment and portfolio management
• Willing to relocate to Kampala area
