At Kijani Forestry, we partner with tens of thousands of farmers to restore forests, improve livelihoods, and protect the environment. Our fleet of motorbikes, vehicles, and bicycles is central to our operations, enabling our team to make a significant impact in Northern Uganda’s communities. 

Role: Fleet Manager

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic planning, budgeting, and policy development for Kijani’s fleet operations.
• Manage the acquisition, allocation, maintenance, and lifecycle of all vehicles.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives while enhancing service quality and reliability.
• Utilize fleet monitoring tools and performance data to inform decision-making.
• Maintain key supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the fleet team to achieve excellence, accountability, and professional growth.
• Monitor detailed maintenance schedules, preventive care programs, and rapid-response emergency plans.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on fleet KPIs, operational trends, and strategic improvements.
