The Sales Executive will be in charge of marketing and selling Life Assurance policies in Uganda and provide financial and risk management advice. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Find target markets and set up meetings with possible clients
  • Get new business using smart sales techniques
  • Keep up good work and meet sales goals
  • Make sure that service delivery and client relationship management are top-notch
  • Keep up with current developments and stay knowledgeable about your industry
  • Show that you are responsible for your daily sales efforts and performance
  • Offer professional advice on financial and risk management
  • Determine what clients need and suggest the best insurance policies for them
  • Respond to questions from clients and give them quick answers
  • Take part in training for sales and professional growth
  • Keep proper records of all client interactions and sales activities
  • Always act professionally when dealing with clients
  • Work with your team to reach common goals
  • Give input on what customers want and what the market is doing

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree from a good school
  • Previous work in sales, research, or starting a business (a plus)
  • Good at talking and writing to people
  • Good at making connections and creating relationships
  • Willingness to learn and be open-minded
  • Able to be trained and adapt to new ideas
  • Age limit: 25 years
  • Good at getting along with others
  • Setting goals and motivating oneself
  • Professional look and behavior
  • Basic knowledge of financial goods (recommended)
  • Focus on customer service
  • Being persistent and tough
  • Being honest and having good morals
  • Being able to manage your time and be organized
