About the Company
The Government of Uganda is running the Generating Growth Opportunities and Productivity for Women Enterprises (GROW) Project for five years, funded with $217 million by the World Bank’s International Development Association (IDA).
Its goal is to make it easier for women entrepreneurs to receive the business services they need to build their firms in certain areas, such as districts that accept refugees. GROW is a project that the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development (MGLSD) and the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) worked on together. It has received praise for its dedication to helping women become financially independent and reducing poverty.
