The Mr. Price Group Limited owns Sheet Street, which is looking for an Area Manager to run stores in the Mpumalanga region.

 This leadership position is all about improving customer satisfaction and profitability while also improving performance, developing talent, and operational excellence.

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

• Guide and give store managers the tools they need to carry out operational plans
• Hire, train, and oversee people to help with succession planning
• Encourage good performance through acknowledgment and deal with poor performance
• Carry out initiatives relating to customers to make sure they are very happy
• Encourage employees to live by the company's principles to boost engagement
• Look at financial records to find chances to increase sales and profits
• Find and create new store opportunities
• Review and enhance operational processes and efficiencies
• Give merchant teams comments on their products to help them sell more

Education, Skills, and Qualifications

• A degree from a college or university that is relevant
• At least five years of management experience as a Store Manager with extra duties
• Good at using Microsoft Office and computers in general
• Good at leading and managing people
• Good at understanding business and knowing how to manage profits and losses
• Good at understanding basic labor law and retail merchandise cycles
• Good at communicating and solving problems
• Ability to motivate and improve performance in a retail setting
