Job Summary:

One&Only Cape Town, which is part of Kerzner International, is looking for an Assistant Outlet Manager for the Rooi restaurant. 

This job includes running the day-to-day operations, keeping up the high standards of luxury service, and helping the business make money while giving guests great experiences.

Responsibilities, Roles, and Duties

• Help with making and maintaining the annual operational budget
• Help with maximizing profits and keeping an eye on revenue performance
• Keep up with guest service standards and handle complaints professionally
• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including designing and analyzing the menu
• Make sure that staff members are trained, scheduled, and briefed every day.
• Keep an eye on the cleanliness, condition of the equipment, and health and safety requirements.
• Keep track of stock and make sure cost-saving measures are followed.
• Give feedback on sales techniques and promotional materials.
• Go to F&B briefings and speak for the outlet in meetings
• Rate how well the crew is doing and coach them
• Make sure guests are happy by providing good service and presentation

Requirements, Education, and Skills

• Experience managing food and drinks, preferably in a high-end property
• Strong background in running restaurants and bars
• Experience in international hospitality is a plus
• Good at leading and managing others
• Great at talking to and getting along with others
• Very organized and good at planning and analyzing things
• Knows how to serve wine and food and drink policies
• Can train, coach, and encourage teams of all types
• Is dedicated to learning new things and providing great service
