Job Overveiw / Expectations
- Put the branch distribution and optimization strategy into action in line with the goals for business growth and development, risk management, customer experience, digital transformation, staff engagement, and financial performance. Important Areas of Results:
- Come up with ways to grow the branch's assets and liabilities in line with the Bank's plan.
- Keep an eye on how well the bank meets its own standards for customer service ratings. 3. Keep an eye on and follow the credit risk framework to make sure that the quality of the assets in the portfolio stays at an appropriate level.
- Follow the bank's policy while putting in place branch internal controls and procedures.
- Plan and manage the branch's budgeting processes, keep an eye on how the budget is doing each month, and take action to fix any problems that come up.
- Check, coordinate, keep an eye on, and provide the go-ahead for all the steps involved in opening, reactivating, adjusting, transferring, and closing all accounts in accordance with bank policies and procedures, KYC standards, CRB rules, and money laundering guidelines.
- Visit the field and check the loans to make the branch's portfolio better.
- Make reports on how well each branch is doing and show them to all stakeholders for review according to defined standards.
- Plan, assess, and keep an eye on staff development and performance programs for branch staff in conformity with current Human Resource policy.
Financial Responsibility:
- Come up with ways to develop the branch's liability base and asset portfolios in line with the Bank's plan
- Manage costs to maximize profits at the branches Details about people Education and Training:
- A respectable university should provide you an Honours Degree in Business or a comparable discipline.
- Having a post-graduate degree or professional course in a related field would be a plus. Skills and experience:
- A minimum of five years of expertise in business growth and branch operations, as well as credit experience that has gotten better over time.
- A good awareness of the rules and legislation that govern lending in banks and other financial institutions.
- A lot of analytics and business intelligence to look at the trends in the market
- Leadership skill; you should have led a team before. Business Skills:
- Knowing how to use a computer
- Knowing how to analyze credit
- Sales and marketing
- Managing relationships
- Must be able to work with others to create connections and handle disagreements.
