• Make sure that customers get correct cash and check receipts
• Compare and send out a daily report that summarizes cash receipts and banking
• Use appropriately authorized vouchers to make sure that people are responsible for petty cash payments
• Keep all deposit slips and unbanked checks in the right place and safe
• Clearly mark each sales order with the amount paid the receipt number and the date of payment
• Make sure that all checks that are received right now are sent to the bank right away
• Give great service to all customers
• Check that all records are balanced before the end of each business day and report any differences right away
• Do any other tasks that the manager or supervisor gives you

• A bachelor's degree in accounting finance or a related discipline of business
• At least two years of experience as a cashier at a store
• Can perform well under pressure with little or no supervision
• Very professional and honest
• Pays close attention to details and has a track record of being responsible and accurate when reconciling sales receipts
• Great customer service and people abilities
