About the Company

The Infectious illnesses Research Collaboration (IDRC) is a non-profit research group in Uganda that focuses on doing high-quality research on infectious illnesses like malaria, HIV, and tuberculosis. Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

Briefly, the duties are:

  • Set up study enrollment and interviews
  • Use electronic data capture devices to store all interview data and make sure that the data is uploaded on time.
  • Draw and get samples from those who are in the study.
  • Keep samples and consent forms safe and make it easy to send samples to Kampala.
  • Help with data cleaning efforts in partnership with the study's main investigator

Needed Qualifications

A diploma in Clinical Medicine from a school that is well-known.
Must be properly registered with Allied Health professionals and have a current license to practice.
Experience giving care to people who are part of a study.
Ability to keep things private.
Being able to utilize a computer and Microsoft Office.
Have done electronic data entry on tablets or phones using data systems like KoboCollect, OpenDataKit, and RedCAP.
Good communication and social abilities.
Being able to speak Samia and Lusoga will be a plus, as will training in Good Clinical Practice and Human Subject Protection.
