Job Summary:

Fairventures Worldwide is looking for a creative Content Creator to make and share interesting tales about reforestation, partnerships with farmers, and climate resilience in Uganda through pictures and writing for people all over the world.

About the Company:

Fairventures Worldwide gives farmers more power by planting trees and making sure that value chains are accountable.

The group has worked with smallholder farmers for more than ten years to repair degraded land through agroforestry, which involves planting trees next to food crops. They do this by giving away free seedlings, training, and access to markets.

Responsibilities, Roles, and Duties

Take high-quality photos and videos in the field
Make and share interesting material for blogs, social media, and newsletters
Make visual storytelling tools for raising money and reporting on impact
Work with project teams in your area and at the German headquarters.
Work closely with farmers and people in the area
Make ensuring that all messages are consistent with the brand.
Help cover events like planting seasons and training for farmers.
Get people from all over the world involved through digital platforms and donation networks.

Skills, Education, and Qualifications

Experience making content, taking pictures, or making videos is a plus.
Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate stories through pictures (portfolio necessary).
Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter) is also a plus.
Experience with editing software like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva, or something similar.
Knowledge of environmental or development issues is a plus.
Love for trees, climate justice, and sustainability
A bachelor's degree in a related discipline or the same amount of experience
Being able to speak and write English well
A creative mind and an eye for detail
