 This job includes giving patients full medical care figuring out what is wrong with them making treatment plans and taking care of a wide range of medical problems The doctor will have to follow the highest standards of medical ethics and patient care This job is perfect for a skilled and caring doctor who wants to make a big difference in the health of the community while working in a busy hospital

• Talk to patients get a full medical history and do a full physical exam
• Order do and understand diagnostic testing (such lab tests and imaging) to find out what is wrong with someone
• Come up with and write down the right treatment plans which may include drugs therapy and guidance on how to live a healthy life
• Take in care for and send home in-patients making sure they get care all the time they are in the hospital
• Do small surgeries and help with big surgeries as needed
• Keep patient medical records that are correct private and up to date
• Work with nurses specialists pharmacists and other healthcare experts to make sure that all aspects of a patient's care are taken care of
• Teach patients and their families about health and provide them advice
• Take part in on-call responsibilities according to the hospital's schedule

• At least two years of professional experience as a Medical Doctor in a hospital after an internship
• You must have a valid annual practicing license from the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
• Good clinical skills and judgment
• Great bedside manner and communication skills to talk to patients and their families from different backgrounds in a way that works
• Can operate quickly and well under pressure in a busy setting
• Understanding caring and a deep commitment to medical ethics
