Job Summary

As a DSE Stocks Trader, you will execute buy and sell orders for stocks, bonds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange You will monitor and analyze market movements, identify investment opportunities, and provide clients with informed recommendations Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate trade records, preparing reports, and cultivating excellent relationships with both retail and institutional investors Success requires a DSE Dealers/Trading Certificate and deep financial market knowledge

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

• Execute client buy and sell orders for stocks, bonds, and ETFs on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange
• Monitor stock market movements and provide timely investment recommendations to clients
• Maintain accurate and current trade records
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly trade performance reports
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with both retail and institutional investors
• Ensure compliance with DSE regulations and internal trading policies

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

Certification: 
Dealers and traders at the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) must have this certificate 
Skills: 
Great at math and analysis 
Ability to make good decisions under stress 
Good in talking to people and managing relationships with them 
Ability to function in a trade environment that is fast-paced and often changing
