Job Summary:
The Finance Manager will create and carry out financial plans, supervise accounting tasks, and take care of the organization's assets to make sure that accurate financial information is available to help with good decision-making.
This leadership position makes sure that the Society's biblical mission and outreach initiatives are financially sound and will last for a long time.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and carry out detailed financial plans that support the organization's objective
- Oversee the work of the finance department and set up effective systems
- Create, carry out, and keep an eye on the organization's Annual Budget
- Manage cash flows and the process of making financial plans.
- Oversee the systems for project accounting and financial reporting.
- Make sure that committee reports and financial statements are correct.
- Manage the organization's investments and property.
- Oversee credit extensions and other financial commitments.
- Help in deciding how much to charge for books and scriptures
- Look at how your competitors price their products and where they stand in the market.
- Make deliberate financial policies that encourage cost-effectiveness.
- Make sure that you get your money's worth and that your finances will last for a long time.
- Keep in touch with clients, suppliers, and other important people.
- Make sure you follow all national laws and rules set by the government.
- Put in place risk management and internal controls
- Plan and carry out external audits and make sure you follow the rules.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline
- A master's degree or an MBA in a related field (a plus)
- A full professional qualification (CPA or ACCA)
- At least five years of expertise in managing finances and audits
- Good understanding of banking operations and financial reporting
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial markets
- Good understanding of strategic planning and resource allocation
- Good understanding of business and management principles
- Knowledge of relevant national laws and rules
- Great at paying attention to small things and doing more than one thing at a time.
- Strong IT abilities and familiarity with ERP systems
- Ability to analyze and predict financial data
- Skills in making and keeping track of budgets
- Managing relationships with stakeholders
- Leading and supervising a team
- Making policies and thinking strategically
Technical Requirements:
- Knowledge of property asset management
- Knowledge of investment management
- Experience with budget management tools
- Knowledge of financial reporting software
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Proficiency with ERP accounting systems
