Job Summary

ThinkIT is seeking a meticulous and experienced Finance Officer to manage financial operations ensure donor compliance and support accurate financial reporting.

 The ideal candidate will be responsible for budget monitoring financial planning and maintaining robust financial systems This role requires strong attention to detail the ability to work in a dynamic team and a commitment to upholding financial accountability

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Maintain precise financial records in accordance with donor and organizational guidelines
• Prepare and submit timely monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for management and donors
• Monitor project expenses against budgets and analyze variances
• Ensure all financial documentation is complete and accurately filed

Budgeting & Compliance

• Assist in the preparation and review of project budgets in coordination with program teams
• Track grant expenditures to ensure alignment with donor requirements
• Support internal and external audits and address audit findings promptly

Cash & Treasury Management

• Manage daily cash flow including advances reimbursements and reconciliations
• Oversee petty cash operations and maintain strict control measures

Grant & Partner Oversight

• Provide financial guidance and capacity-building support to implementing partners
• Review partner financial reports to ensure compliance with donor regulations

Systems Improvement

• Recommend and implement enhancements to financial processes and internal controls
• Ensure efficient use of financial management systems
