Freight In Time Group a top logistics and supply chain firm that works in East and Central Africa is looking for a well qualified Group Finance Manager. This senior leadership position which is situated in Kampala entails making sure that the whole group's finances and accounting systems are in good shape throughout several nations.

The best person for the job will be able to think strategically and have a lot of experience with financial consolidation cash flow management audit compliance and leading a team.

This is an important job for making sure that the group's finances are stable profitable and continue to grow across its large network

Roles & Responsibilities / Main Tasks

Financial Consolidation: Be in charge of making consolidated group financial accounts and reports for all the nations in the region
Managing Cash Flow: Keep an eye on the daily cash flow make sure the working capital is as efficient as possible and find a balance between liquidity and profitability
Compliance and Audit: Make sure that all legal requirements are filed on time and help with internal and external audits to improve financial procedures
System Implementation: Make sure that all countries' ERP and finance systems follow the same rules and standards
Strategic Planning: Create and keep an eye on group-wide budgets and forecasts and do variance analysis
Leading a Team: Hire train and build a strong regional financial team
Board Reporting: Make full financial presentations for the board and senior management and give them to the board
Tax and Risk Management: Oversee efforts to plan taxes manage risks and cut costs

Qualifications for School

Position	Qualification
Group Finance Manager	A full professional accounting degree (CPA ACCA or something similar)

Skills and Experience

Experience as a senior financial manager ideally in a setting with more than one nation
Having worked in logistics or transportation is a big plus
Proven ability to make consolidated group financial statements
Good at managing cash flow making budgets and analyzing finances
Knowledge of and experience with major ERP systems like SAP Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics
Great skills in leading talking to people and managing stakeholders
