Position Overview

SMAT Marketing is hiring a Growth Officer in Kampala, Uganda, to drive client acquisition, sales, and revenue growth. Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients, build partnerships, and expand market reach in a dynamic marketing and sales environment.

Main Duties

Develop and implement growth strategies to acquire new clients.
Build and maintain a robust prospect pipeline through networking, referrals, collaborations, and direct outreach.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities and position the organization competitively.
Prepare proposals, pitch to potential clients, and close negotiations.
Maintain client relationships to ensure retention and upsell services.
Monitor and report on growth KPIs, including leads, conversions, and revenue.
Collaborate with marketing and project teams to align growth strategies with delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

Requirement	Details
Education	Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field from a recognized institution
Experience	Proven success in B2B sales, business development, or growth roles
Negotiation Skills	Strong ability in negotiating, pitching, and closing deals
Relationship Building	Ability to create and maintain connections with clients at all levels
Mindset	Entrepreneurial mindset, thrives in a fast-paced, lean environment
Communication	Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Additional Knowledge	Familiarity with digital marketing services (preferred)
