Role Purpose

Provide strategic leadership in finance, treasury, grants compliance, procurement, logistics, and operations. Safeguard assets, ensure donor/statutory compliance, and deliver IFRS-compliant, timely reporting to support multi-site program decisions. Lead internal controls, risk management, and operational excellence as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT).

Key Responsibilities

• Implement financial strategy, governance, and policy
• Manage treasury, liquidity, and FX risk
• Oversee financial accounting, closing, and IFRS reporting
• Lead grants management, donor compliance (EU/UNHCR), and sub-award lifecycle
• Drive systems, data, and process excellence
• Strengthen controls over mobile money, cash, AP/AR
• Oversee asset, inventory, procurement, and fleet management
• Establish audit, risk, and assurance frameworks
• Build high-performing finance team with strong leadership

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin, or related
• Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting
• Full CA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA
• 10+ years progressive finance leadership
• 5+ years in (I)NGO multi-donor, field operations
• Expert in IFRS (incl. IFRS 9), treasury, external audits
• Proven EU/UNHCR donor complianceand sub-award management
• Strong ERP/FMIS leadership (MS Dynamics preferred)
• Change management and process improvement in HQ + field
