Job Summary

The HR Executive at Agricado Farms Uganda Ltd. will play a critical role in supporting the organization’s people strategy, ensuring effective HR operations, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture in Mubende, Uganda.

Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and termination
  • Update and maintain HR policies, ensuring compliance with company standards and Ugandan labor laws
  • Support department heads with talent acquisition, workforce planning, and staff retention initiatives
  • Oversee employee welfare programs, leave administration, and payroll preparation
  • Handle disciplinary actions, employee relations, and conflict resolution with fairness and transparency
  • Maintain accurate HR databases and personnel records
  • Organize training and development programs to enhance employee skills and productivity
  • Prepare regular HR reports to support management decision-making

Qualifications, Education, and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of proven experience in a comparable HR role, preferably in a manufacturing, production, or agricultural setting
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and Ugandan labor legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
