Job Purpose: To make sure that the digital platforms which are the backbone of their PAYGo activities are of high quality The QA Engineer will focus on mobile testing environments and full-stack quality processes for their solar energy products
Duties
- Carry out test plans and quality assurance strategies for both web and mobile platforms
- Test native Android mobile apps from start to finish
- Give second-level technical help and look into problems with production
- Set up and keep test automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium
- Check that integrations work with AWS cloud services MQTT protocols and RESTful APIs
- Write and keep up-to-date technical documents and test plans
Skills and Knowledge
| Requirement |
|---|
| Experience with mobile QA testing and a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem (1–3 years) |
| Knowledge on how to make Android apps (Kotlin/Java) |
| Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases as well as RESTful services MQTT and AWS |
| Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how systems are built |
| Different ways to test (BDD TDD) |
| Tools for automating things (Selenium Appium Espresso) |
| Writing code in Ruby Python or Kotlin |
| Tools for monitoring (Sentry Grafana) |
| A bachelor's degree in computer engineering software engineering computer science or something similar |
