Tunaweza Health & Wellness Center is a new clinic that cares about the community and wants to provide high-quality, private, and caring health care.

We are dedicated to offering high-quality, private, and compassionate health services in Lutete, Gayaza Road.

As we grow important health services in Lutete, we need a dedicated and caring Laboratory Technician and Clinician to join our team.

Role Overview

You will provide clinical care, diagnostics, and health education with empathy and professionalism.

This dual role combines laboratory testing and patient consultation, ensuring accurate results and compassionate service.

We prioritize stigma-free, inclusive care for Key & Vulnerable Populations including teens, sex workers, and LGBTI individuals.

Key Responsibilities

Do lab testing, diagnostics, and sample management with care.
Give clinical care, assess patients, and teach them about health as necessary.
Keep your records straight, your privacy safe, and your data safe.
Support outreach initiatives that help Key & Vulnerable Populations, such as teens, sex workers, and LGBTI people, by making sure that services are provided in a courteous and stigma-free way.
In a health center that is growing quickly, work together with the team.

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

Required:

A certificate or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Medicine, or a field that is related.
Registration with the right Ugandan government agencies is valid.
Having worked in community-based health programs before is a plus.
Strong people skills, empathy, and the ability to work with people from different backgrounds.
Dedication to not discriminating, being open to everyone, and keeping patient information private.

Ideal Candidate:

We really want people who know about the health needs and life experiences of Key and Vulnerable Populations.
Have worked in places that help LGBTI people or other groups that aren't as well off.
Are very interested in health care for the community and putting patients first.

Starting Salary: 500,000 UGX per month
