In order to drive our sales efforts for electric motorcycles and related services , Zembo Uganda is looking to hire a Sales Team Lead who is both motivated and experienced 

This individual will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of sales representatives ,developing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and cultivating strong client relationships particularly with motorcycle taxi drivers 

To be successful in this position you need to have strong leadership ,communication and sales abilities as well as a strong interest in environmentally friendly transportation and the ability to thrive in a startup atmosphere that moves quickly

Duties and Obligations

• In order to reach individual and collective sales goals. it is essential to have the ability to lead coach and encourage a team of sales representatives This is accomplished by cultivating a culture that emphasizes teamwork and excitement
• The development of sales strategies involves the creation and implementation of efficient sales strategies that aim to promote revenue growth The primary emphasis of these strategies is to increase the adoption of Zembo's electric motorcycles and battery swap services
• Maintaining good relationships with clients especially motorcycle taxi drivers is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business Client relationship management involves the establishment and maintenance of these ties
• Performance monitoring involves the monitoring and analysis of sales performance metrics through the provision of feedback and coaching with the aim of enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of the team
• Zembo's customer base in Uganda and beyond can be expanded by identifying new sales opportunities and exploring market trends This is part of the market expansion process
• The concept of collaboration involves working closely with the marketing operations and technical teams in order to match sales efforts with the objectives of the firm and guarantee a seamless experience for the customer
• One of the responsibilities of the Training and Development department is to recruit train and onboard new sales agents providing them with the necessary information and tools to effectively promote Zembo's products
• Prepare and present sales reports to senior management highlighting achievements difficulties and potential for improvement This responsibility falls under the category of reporting
• client service involves immediately addressing client inquiries and concerns with the aim of ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty throughout the relationship

Prerequisites

• The ideal educational background for this position is a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing or an area that is significantly connected
• At least three years of experience in sales including at least one year spent in a leadership or supervising role is required for this position
• A benefit is having previous experience in the automotive motorcycle or other similar industries
• Leadership skills refer to the demonstrated capacity to guide guide and guide a sales team and motivate them to achieve or surpass their targets
• Capabilities in Communication: Possessing exceptional verbal and writing communication skills along with the capacity to establish harmonious relationships with a wide range of clientele
• Analytical skills refer to the ability to assess sales data and market trends in order to make judgments based on the data collected
• Capable of utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software Microsoft Office Suite and sales tracking tools with mastery
• I have a strong interest in electric transportation and environmental sustainability and I am passionate about sustainability
• The capacity to thrive in a dynamic self-organized startup setting with extensive autonomy and responsibility is referred to as adaptability
• An advantage is in having a familiarity with the Ugandan market namely the motorbike taxi industry through the utilization of local knowledge
