Job Details
The Manager of Tourism and Marketing will drive tourism growth, lead marketing campaigns, and promote conservation awareness. This role is pivotal in achieving the Trust’s mission by developing innovative products and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual marketing, sales, and communications plans to increase market share and revenue.
- Create and enhance tourism products to meet market demands and support sustainable income for the Trust.
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and monitor industry trends.
- Build and maintain cooperative relationships with local and global tourism industry stakeholders.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of promotional materials and manage public relations.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Prepare and analyze sales/marketing data, monitor key performance indicators, and report to the Executive Director.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Tourism & Hospitality, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior marketing or business development role, preferably in tourism and hospitality.
- Professional marketing qualification (e.g., CIM) is an added advantage.

- Leadership: Experience leading and motivating teams.
- Communication: Excellent skills in negotiation, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement.

- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain diverse partnerships.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales and marketing data to inform decisions.
