Job Descriptions and Requirements in Detail

a) IT Manager

· Summary of the Role: This is a high-level leadership job in charge of the bank's whole IT strategy infrastructure and security The job probably includes managing IT operations software development cybersecurity digital banking platforms and technology budgets

· Expected Requirements (Typical for such a role):

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related discipline
• Having professional certifications like CISA CISM CISSP ITIL or COBIT is really helpful
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience managing IT ideally in the banking or financial services sector
• Proven expertise managing core banking systems IT security procedures and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong leadership strategic planning and vendor management abilities

b) Senior Manager for Compliance Assurance

· Role Summary: This job is to make sure that the bank follows all of its own rules and the rules imposed by the Bank of Uganda for other banks The manager would be in charge of a team that did audits managed risk assessments and put compliance frameworks into place

· Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in law finance business administration or a similar discipline Having a Master's degree is a plus
• Professional qualifications in compliance such as the Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) certification
• More than 8 years of experience working in compliance audit or risk management at a bank or other financial institution
• A lot of experience with Ugandan banking rules anti-money laundering (AML) laws and Know Your Customer (KYC) rules

b) Trade Finance Relationship Manager

· Role Summary: This job involves working with corporate clients who need trade finance solutions like letters of credit guarantees and supply chain financing to build and maintain partnerships with them

· What you need to do:

• Have a bachelor's degree in finance business economics or a related profession
• Have at least five years of demonstrated experience in trade finance or corporate banking
• Know a lot about international trade procedures paperwork (UCP600 URC522) and how to lower risks
• Great at creating relationships selling and negotiating

d) Officer of Transaction Banking

· Role Summary: This officer helps the transaction banking unit by managing cash processing payments and providing other operational banking services to business clients

· Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in a discipline that is relevant
• 2–4 years of experience working in banking operations processing transactions or providing customer care at a bank
• Knowledge of payment systems (such SWIFT and EFTs) and excellent analytical abilities
• Paying attention to details and being able to handle transactions quickly and correctly
