Specific Positions
Public Health Dentist (1 Position)
| Requirement |
|---|
| A Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) |
| A postgraduate degree in Public Health Dentistry is a big plus |
| Registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC) |
| Role: To give dental care with a focus on teaching people about public health and preventing dental problems in the community |
Optician (1 Position)
| Requirement |
|---|
| A diploma in optical technology or opticianry |
| Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) |
| Role: To give out glasses and other optical aids as directed by an ophthalmologist or optometrist run the optical workshop |
Eye Theater Nurse (1 Position)
| Requirement |
|---|
| A diploma in nursing |
| Additional training in either ophthalmic nursing or theater skills |
| Membership with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC) |
| Role: To give specialist nursing care in the eye theater helping with eye surgeries and taking care of patients before and after surgery |
Medical Lab Assistant (1 Position)
| Requirement |

| A certificate in medical laboratory assistance |
| Worked in a lab that was very busy |
| Role: To help lab technicians and technologists get samples ready do basic tests and keep lab equipment in good shape |
Cashier (1 Position)
| Requirement |
|---|
| Diploma in Business Administration Accounting or Finance |
| High integrity and knowledge of computer accounting systems |
| Role: To handle patient billing payments and daily cash reconciliation at the hospital's points of service |
Askari (Guard) (1 Position)
| Requirement |
|---|
| At least a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) |
| Experience in security job that can be proven |
| Training from a well-known security group and a certificate of good behavior |
| Role: To make sure that hospital workers patients visitors and property are safe by keeping an eye on everything and controlling who can get in |
Cleaner (1 Position)
| Requirement |
|---|
| Experience cleaning preferably at a hotel or hospital |
| Knowledge about how to stop infections from spreading |
| Role: To keep wards offices and all other hospital areas very clean to stop the spread of illnesses |
