The Nwoya Charity Foundation (NCF) is a recognized charity and non-governmental organization in Uganda. We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Communications Volunteer to support our outreach, storytelling, and content production efforts. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online visibility, engaging communities, and promoting our mission.
Duties |
---|
Write and plan posts for social media, newsletters, and websites. |
Write press releases, blog entries, and success stories. |
Edit and format reports, brochures, and other organizational documents. |
Monitor media mentions and assist with press outreach. |
Create simple designs using tools like Canva or Adobe. |
Maintain the organization’s photo and media library. |
Assist in planning the communications strategy and calendar. |
Qualifications |
---|
Strong written and spoken English. |
Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn). |
Experience in content creation, storytelling, or digital storytelling. |
Basic graphic design or video editing skills (preferred). |
Ability to meet deadlines, stay organized, and self-motivate. |
Passion for charity work and supporting vulnerable communities. |
