Job Summary

The East African Carbon Company (EACC) is seeking an Office Manager / Executive Assistant to manage office operations and provide high-level support to the Head of Carbon Development in Kampala.

 This role is vital for ensuring operational efficiency in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization focused on carbon credit programs and environmental sustainability .

By streamlining administrative processes and supporting executive leadership, the Office Manager / Executive Assistant will enable EACC to focus on its strategic goals of combating climate change and promoting sustainable development across East Africa

Duties

  • Oversee office logistics, including procurement of supplies, maintenance of records, and coordination of travel and events
  • Manage executive schedules and track deadlines
  • Prepare reports to support decision-making
  • Ensure smooth communication across teams
  • Handle confidential information with discretion
  • Maintain a professional office environment
  • Organize meetings and manage budgets for office operations
  • Support project-related administrative tasks

Qualifications

RequirementDetails
Experience5+ years of experience in office management or executive assistance
EducationDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
SkillsProficiency in MS Office, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in a sustainability-focused organization is advantageous
