Description

Norvik Enterprises Limited is looking for a Human Resource Officer to help the company hire new people. 

 This will involve screening recruiting interviewing and placing individuals They will help new hires get used to their jobs and help them understand the intricate process of getting paid and getting benefits HR works for both the employee and the organization The Human Resources Officer will be well-organized and in charge of both administrative and strategic hiring tasks

 They also have the important job of following all HR rules and regulations set by the local state and federal governments

Duties

  • Finding and interviewing people who want to work for you based on their talents experience and education
  • Making plans for how to hire new employees in the future and what the goals are
  • Doing office work
  • Making sure that employees follow health and safety rules
  • Planning and running new employee orientation onboarding and training programs
  • Changing job requirements when necessary
  • Calling the references of the candidate
  • Doing criminal background checks that the company needs
  • Explaining and giving information on employee benefits programs and schooling
  • Giving advice on what benefits a company needs or looking over bids for benefit contracts
  • Making sure that all federal and state human resource laws are followed
  • Keeping track of personnel records and papers
  • Answering employees' queries and dealing with their concerns about the organization
  • Going over rules for the health safety and well-being of employees
  • Being the employer's face at community and hiring events
  • Taking care of social events

What You Need

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business human resources or a related subject
  • At least five (5) years of experience working in human resources or a similar field
  • Preferred: specialized training in employment law pay planning for the organization developing the organization employee relations safety training and preventing labor relations
  • Great computer skills including understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and database management and record keeping
  • A basic understanding of employment legislation and best practices
  • Great in talking and writing able to do more than one thing at once set priorities and use time well
