Description

Marie Stopes International is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to help with high-level administrative tasks keep the office running smoothly and be the main point of contact for other teams and departments.

The administrator will work closely with the leaders of the Global Supply Chain team to make sure that operations run smoothly and effectively that new tools and toolkits are published and that commercial opportunities are tracked within Country Programmes.

The Global Supply Chain team works with all of our Country Programs to provide best practices for all international procurement and supply chain activities.

They also seek to increase capacity throughout our network

The Global Supply Chain function has started a new program called the Procurement Coordinator

This function is a vital part of MSI that makes sure that quality products are always available at the right price in a quick and effective way

The Director of Global Procurement and Supply Chain Operations is in charge of the Global Supply Chain department

It has a Procurement Team a Regulatory Team and a new Supply Chain Performance Team

Abilities and Experience Needed

  • Good communication talks and writes clearly to everyone in the company and at all levels

  • Very good at planning and organizing
  • Very good at starting and finishing the creation of supply chain tools and very aware of the needs of change management to make sure that new systems are successfully integrated into countries with less resources
  • Good at following through on plans and tasks
  • Good at solving problems understands the problems that come with working in low-resource environments and can come up with solutions that meet both global standards and the demands of country programs
  • Good at trying out different options to find the best one
  • A lot of experience in an administrative or team coordination function
  • Experience putting together events and workshops
  • Must be able to speak English well (required) and French well (very recommended)
  • Must know how to use Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and other programs
