Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and provide technical assistance for all program activities in North-eastern Uganda, including planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on them
In charge of planning, organizing, carrying out, keeping an eye on, and reporting on all program activities in the area, working with and following the project manager's instructions
Be in charge of overseeing and coordinating work done at the district level, and give staff technical support that will help them carry out project tasks in an efficient and successful way
Making monthly budgets and work plans to send to the project manager
Working with the manager to make sure that all program operations follow the budget and keep control of the money
Write monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on financial and narrative progress
Make sure that the program's people and assets are safe and secure
In Northern Uganda, be in charge of all program assets and make sure they are safe, used properly, and kept up to date
Set up and run staff meetings and Program Steering Committee meetings as often as needed
Start and take part in networks that help the program reach its goals
Set up a needs assessment and a baseline survey
Organize and allocate the writing of the program proposal and make sure it is turned in on time to the desk officer
Speak for the program and ADRA Uganda at different events in Northern Uganda's operational region and at other higher levels as the desk officer may ask
Make case stories on a regular basis that will systematically record problems, successes, lessons learned, and best practices

Education
A bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, or a related field
Other Qualifications and Skills: At least five years of experience in a similar job Can speak English well Being able to talk to and get along with people from different religious and educational backgrounds Good at paying attention to details and managing time well Being able to speak the Karamojong community's native language fluently Being able to ride a motorcycle and having a valid riding permit Being able to work in all of Karamoja and North Uganda's project regions
