Job Summary:

ITHUBA Uganda is looking for a motivated Sales Representative who will be in charge of expanding our Agent network, finding new leads, signing up new agents and merchants, fulfilling sales goals, and creating long-term connections with clients. 

The person who gets the job will represent our brand, market our goods and services, and be a vital player in helping the business expand.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Find and follow up on new sales leads through cold calling, networking, and lead creation.
  • Give product presentations and live demos to potential partners.
  • Build and keep strong, long-term connections with clients.
  • Work out deals and sign contracts with shops and agents.
  • Always meet or beat the weekly and monthly sales goals you were given.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in the market and your company's products.
  • Make and send management regular sales reports and projections.
  • Work with other departments in the company to make the client experience better.
  • Help key account and B2B customers.
  • Help set up training sessions for partners, merchants, and agents.
  • Give first-level technical assistance for mobile apps.
  • Give all client groups full customer assistance.

Requirements and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline
  • At least two years of proven experience as a sales representative or in a similar job
  • Great in talking to others, negotiating, and getting along with others
  • Good in organizing and managing time
  • Self-motivated and focused on getting results
  • Good at using MS Office Suite
  • Ability to operate a car with a manual transmission
  • Having a valid driver's license
  • You must be able to speak at least two of the local languages
  • You must live in the area where you are applying
