The Watoto Church and Childcare Ministries initiative was started because there were so many orphaned children and mothers in Uganda who needed help Our goal is to save people and train them to be leaders in their communities.

Our schools are an important part of this purpose because they give students a good education and help them grow as people. The Secondary School Teacher's job is to teach students in Biology and Chemistry, encourage them to do well in school, and help each child in the Watoto community grow as a whole

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach Biology and Chemistry in the classroom according to the Watoto education standards and the Uganda National Ministry of Education and Sports curriculum
• Test students and teachers every month and every term to see how well they are learning and teaching
• Keep an eye on how well students are doing in the courses and class they are allocated to in order to make sure and encourage academic achievement
• Make sure that all students have a safe, welcoming, and interactive place to learn
• Recognize and honor students who do well in different areas of school life
• Show that you are a good steward of all school property and resources by keeping them safe and using them in the best way possible
• Encourage and include students in at least one vocational skill and make sure they are always active participants
• Keep an eye on how well students are doing in vocational skills activities and report back
• Look at and judge real-life projects that students do as part of their whole education
• Lead and mentor learners in small groups and one-on-one settings in a way that works
• Be there for your students and be available to help them and give them advice
• Do and oversee real-life projects to give students hands-on, real-world learning opportunities
